Wow! I can't believe Christmas is here already! It seems like it was here just yesterday. But I'm not complaining, this is my FAVORITE time of year! And it's not only because I love to bundle up in a warm blanket on a freezing cold night and drink hot chocolate with friends and family, or because of the lights, or the christmas cookies. Although those are some of the things that make Christmas so wonderful, the most incredible thing about Christmas that makes this my FAVORITE time of year is the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. It absolutely blows my mind to think that the God of the Universe, the God who placed the moon and the stars in the sky, the God who has the stars all named, who calls them out by number, would come here to earth. For us. 

    This Christmas, we must not forget that the primary reason Jesus came to this earth was to eventually die on the cross for the sins of the world. I encourage you this Christmas to share the good news of Jesus Christ with someone. What a great time to share what true love really is. The love of a Savior! God bless! And always remember, Jesus is the reason for EVERY season!

  Ok, so I've never done a blog before and I don't really know what I'm doing so don't be too hard on me.

   God has been doing some pretty amazing things with the band lately and as the Psalmist said in Psalm 34:2 "My soul will make its boast in the Lord; the humble will hear it and rejoice". As many of you know, we have been in the GMA's Battle of the Bands for the past week or so with the votes of fans being the central source for advancement to the next round. We (TJB) have been absolutely blown away by the incredible support shown by so many of our brothers and sisters in Christ who have voted for us daily. The support of our friends and family has been so overwhelming and incredibly humbling. Not only has the support been so much more than we had thought but the opportunity of being the opening band for a nationally televised concert in Nashville is mindboggling. We've made it through the beginning panel, 1st, and 2nd rounds and it is all because of YOU! (And the Lord) Thank you again for all the support! We are completely stoked about this opportunity because of the platform it offers to reach the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ! Please continue to pray for us as we strive to bring glory to God in everything that we do!
